Used this to scan in all my books, video games, movies and whatnot into an inventory application (Delicious). Worked perfectly every time. Cable was sufficiently long enough to handle the task and short enough not to get in the way. Good solid feel. Came with a programming book to modify the scanner's defaults which I have not had to do yet. Works perfectly with MacOS; when searching for scanners this was a big concern since my laptop runs MacOS and many seemed to indicate it had problems.
0I would recommend this scanner for the average user who needs to inventory their stuff.

 Today I am going to review a wireless UPC scanner from a company called HisGadget which is a global e-retailer that is well represented in the United States, Britain, France, Germany and China since 2010. the scanner costs about $72.99 USD and comes with Free shipping so that's all you will pay. So not bad for the price but how does it perform? That's what this review intends to show you, so read on.... I got this scanner to use with Music Collectorz. I got the version without the holder (which is what turns it into an automatic scanner). I did not want automatic which is why I chose the $24 version without the holder. It works like a charm. For those of you considering the same, don't be fooled by the suggestions from the program Music Collectorz. Any keyboard wedge enabled scanner will work. Don't be alarmed if you click the "Find Scanner" button and it comes back as "Scanner Not Found". This scanner will work anyway and you don't need to click that button at all.Pros: Inexpensive Just plug and play - no software to load or special programming to do. (Although you can do so if you need that). Has book with prefab codes to scan if you need them to program it. (In most cases you won't need that though).
